The Municipality of Contagem presents this Executive Summary, which contains the main results of the first Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions Inventory of the municipality, with 2018 as the reference year.

The objective of the inventory is to reveal the city's GHG emissions profile, identifying its main sources and thus enabling the development of strategies to reduce these emissions, as well as mitigating the impacts of climate change.

With the launch of the inventory, Contagem reinforces its commitment to climate action, contributing to the fulfillment of the goals of the Paris Agreement and to the construction of a low-carbon and resilient future.
