ICLEI South America, within the framework of Climate Diplomacy and Local Governance in the Amazon Project, [Name of Municipality], hereby makes public this Call for Expressions of Interest from Amazonian municipalities interested in participating in a process of institutional strengthening, technical capacity building, exchange, climate planning, and promotion of local climate diplomacy.

The search call select municipalities located in the Amazon Biome, with a population greater than 100,000 inhabitants. The project integrates Component 5 of EU Policy and Outreach Partnership in Argentina and Brazil, This initiative aims to strengthen the European Union's strategic engagement with local governments in the Amazon, recognizing the central role of Amazonian cities in climate governance, biodiversity protection, the transition to sustainable development models, territorial resilience, and the increased participation of local governments in regional and international decision-making spaces.
