Sustainable construction and increased recycling are actions already being developed by local governments, which consider innovation a key factor in placing them at the forefront of combating the effects of climate change.

The CB27 Forum is young but has a consolidated maturity, with frequent in-person meetings, ongoing engagement, advocacy with state and national governments, and dialogue in the search for funding. But, above all, the sharing of successful experiences in the most diverse areas of sustainability makes the Forum of Secretaries of the Environment of Brazilian Capitals one of the main actors in issues such as municipalism and sustainability today.
