We are very proud to present the Climate Action Plan of Itabirito, the first Brazilian municipality to develop the Compact Climate Compliance Plan in partnership with ICLEI South America.

But the completion of this work is only the beginning. Our mission is to implement and monitor this Plan with the help of the entire population, doing our part to make Itabirito an increasingly safer and better place to live. Economic growth is no longer possible without environmental protection; our municipality is at the forefront of smart cities in the pursuit of promoting equality, equity, and sustainability. I remain confident in the innovative and supportive spirit of Itabirito's citizens, certain that, together, we will make Itabirito a benchmark of sustainability and a safe place for us and for future generations.
