This Protected Area has a Management Committee made up of representatives from the San Martin de Sechura Rural Community and private companies that share the territory as users; and representatives from civil society. The Management Committee implements an annual action plan, the funding for which has been primarily provided by private companies, such as Cementos Pacasmayo, which, through the municipal administration and with the contribution of other members of civil society, has contributed to the implementation of actions related to biological monitoring, control and surveillance, as well as environmental education.
