This document presents a synthesis of the results obtained in the Climate Risk and Vulnerability Analysis (CRVA) of Belém, as part of the Nature-Based-Cities: Biodiversity and Climate Resilience for Urban Development (NBCities) project, implemented by ICLEI South America and funded by the Global Ecosystem-based Adaptation (EbA) Fund. The NBCities project sought to promote the integration of biodiversity conservation and climate action agendas into the local policies of the city of Belém, Pará.

Climate Risk Assessment (CRAs) involves analyzing the set of climate threats and elements of exposure and vulnerability within the municipal territory. This helps guide the development of responsive public policies and investments that minimize the risks identified in the city, contributing to the construction of a resilient structure to the impacts of climate change.
