The 4th Inventory of Anthropogenic Emissions and Removals of Greenhouse Gases in the State of Minas Gerais provides an update on emissions and removals from the main activities carried out in the territory. It is based on data from activities in the Energy, Waste, IPPU (Industrial Processes and Product Use) and AFOLU (Agriculture, Forestry and Other Land Uses) sectors between 2015 and 2019.

This document was produced through a partnership between the Government of the State of Minas Gerais, CDP Latin America, and ICLEI South America, via the UK PACT (Partnering for Accelerated Climate Transitions), a UK green finance cooperation program. The operationalization of this project is innovative and provides a database that will serve to implement more ambitious, collaborative, and science-based climate actions.
