An implementation guide for Cities and Subnational Governments

The Food-Water-Energy Nexus (FWEN) is a new approach to old problems in cities, such as the unsustainable use and scarcity of natural resources, inefficiency and waste in management, and social inequality. The FWEN is based on "systems thinking" as opposed to "silo thinking" to help integrate different sectors and departments in resource management to improve efficiency and quality in the use of food, water, and energy.
