2020 is considered a "Super Year" for Nature, Biodiversity, and Climate. The scientific messages are clear. On the road to the 15th COP on Biodiversity (CBD), where the global framework on biodiversity will be renegotiated, and the 26th COP on climate change (UNFCCC), where efforts will be made to finalize a new market mechanism and assess and respond to revisions of national commitments (NDCs), these themes should converge and be discussed at the World Economic Forum and the United Nations Summit, among a series of other global forums planned throughout the year.
