The Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory (IEGEE) of Rio Grande do Sul quantifies and analyzes the flows of greenhouse gas emissions and removals in the state between 2018 and 2023. By systematizing data on carbon emission sources and sinks, the document strengthens state climate governance and provides a technical basis for the formulation of public policies and strategies to address climate change.
