This Executive Summary presents the main results of the 3rd Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions Inventory for the municipality of Recife, with reference to the years 2016 and 2017. The objective of the inventory is to reveal the city's GHG emissions profile, identifying its main sources and thus allowing the development of ambitious strategies so that the city can reduce its emissions and mitigate the impacts of climate change in its territory.
