The new edition of the Manual, prepared within the scope of Sustainable Procurement through Innovation Project With support from the British Embassy in Brasília, it was launched today during the III Meeting of Municipalities for Sustainable Development, by Sophia Picarelli, Project Coordinator of ICLEI South America.

This edition of the Manual has been adapted to the Brazilian context and includes contributions from managers and technicians from different national institutions. The Manual clearly presents concepts related to Sustainable Public Procurement, how they can be implemented, and potential related advantages. It also demonstrates how Public Procurement through Innovation is becoming a focal point of policies at different levels of government.
