ICLEI Argentina, which is based in the city of Rosario, offers support to network members in the Southern Cone sub-region, in countries such as Argentina, Chile and Uruguay. It assists local and subnational governments in developing public policies, planning processes and implementing actions geared towards sustainability.

Your work is based on recognising the central role that these governments play in tackling contemporary environmental challenges within their territories, and the growing prominence they have acquired on the global sustainable development agenda. It drives multi-level action processes and provides technical, financial, and institutional tools that strengthen governments' capacities to advance their climate, environmental, and biodiversity protection agendas.

Working with Latin American networks and other organisations that share this goal, ICLEI Argentina promotes transformations aimed at more resilient and responsible environmental management, which contribute to improving citizens' quality of life.
