AcBio - Action for Biodiversity

Project description

AcBio is a project implemented by ICLEI Argentina and the Bahía Encerrada Association (ABE) in the province of Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica and the South Atlantic Islands. It is co-financed by the European Union and aims to contribute to the protection of Argentina's forests and wetlands by strengthening the capacities of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and subnational governments. AcBio's approach integrates applied science, local knowledge, public-private sector collaboration, and access to innovative financing mechanisms.
