The 2nd Greenhouse Gas Inventory of Sorocaba, covering the period from 2013 to 2017, was prepared using the GPC methodology, comprising a five-year methodological unit series. This document was prepared by a team from the Sorocaba City Hall, coordinated by the Secretariat of Environment and Sustainability (SEMA), after training offered by ICLEI, using the Clearpath system for emissions calculation, preceding data entry and tabulation of the results obtained in order to support this report, and using the calculation tool of the Brazilian GHG Protocol Program to recalculate items identified with inconsistencies during the review, subsequently producing its final version, which supported this document.
