RexCom LAC do ICLEI realiza seu segundo encontro na Cidade de Quito

No dia 6 de outubro de 2015, o Comitê Executivo Regional do ICLEI para América Latina e Caribe (RexCom LAC) realizou sua segunda Reunião Presencial na Cidade de Quito, Equador. O encontro aconteceu no âmbito do evento “Cidades Inteligentes e Sustentáveis – rumo ao Habitat III”.

Os Prefeitos de Itu (Brasil), Antonio Luiz Carvalho Gomes e San Rafael de Heredia (Costa Rica), Jorge Herrera, estiveram presentes, e em conjunto com representantes de Quito e Tegucigalpa (Honduras) discutiram as estratégias regionais do ICLEI para a COP21 e Habitat III.

Campo Grande will host the 1st ICLEI Brazil Centre-West Meeting from 22 to 24 October, bringing together local governments and partners to prepare the region for COP30.

Teresina will host the 4th ICLEI Brazil Northeast Meeting to discuss a just energy transition and the resilience of the Caatinga region in the lead-up to COP30.

The event will bring together local governments, academia, the private sector, and civil society to strengthen climate governance in the Northeast and prepare the region's contributions to the global conference in Belém.
