In its journey with ICLEI, the city of Teresina, Piauí, the capital of the state of Piauí, has already participated in prominent events such as meetings of CB27 Forum, COP25 and MOBILIZE 2019.

Furthermore, she participated in “BIO2020: Brazilian Perspectives for the Post-2020 Biodiversity Framework” and contributed to the organization of the 1st Hot Cities Forum.

In 2021, she participated in the Mobilicampus training and, in 2022, she participated in the Work Plan meeting for the implementation of actions of the 2030 Agenda. Teresina also participated in the 1st Edition of Urban Laboratory for Public Food Policies (LUPPA), which took place between 2021 and 2022.

Teresina's anniversary is celebrated on August 16th.
