Confira como foi a 1ª sessão dos Webinars ICLEI Covid-19

Somado ao RadarICLEI_Covid19, o ICLEI América do Sul lançou, no dia 30 de abril, a série Webinars ICLEI Covid-19, fomentando a discussão em torno de abordagens para a (re)construção de um melhor futuro sustentável para nossas cidades.

Na primeira sessão da série, intitulada “Relações entre as crises Covid-19, climática e da natureza”, trouxemos para refletir conosco o reconhecido climatologista Carlos Nobre, presidente do Painel Brasileiro de Mudança do Clima, e João Resch, Secretário de Sustentabilidade, Inovação e Resiliência da Prefeitura de Salvador.

The meeting highlighted the leading role of women, the potential of socio-bioeconomy, and the integration of climate and biodiversity as pathways for sustainable development in the Amazon region.

1st Mid-West ICLEI Brazil Meeting Strengthens Regional Cooperation Towards COP30

Campo Grande will host the 1st ICLEI Brazil Centre-West Meeting from 22 to 24 October, bringing together local governments and partners to prepare the region for COP30.

Teresina will host the 4th ICLEI Brazil Northeast Meeting to discuss a just energy transition and the resilience of the Caatinga region in the lead-up to COP30.

The event will bring together local governments, academia, the private sector, and civil society to strengthen climate governance in the Northeast and prepare the region's contributions to the global conference in Belém.
