Brief description of the project
A strategy to enhance the visibility and appeal of the region, its administration, and its main actions, projects, programs, and public policies, through an international mission that mobilizes strategic guests, governments, and interested institutions. It also seeks to promote cooperation, financing, and partnerships for sustainable development. The first edition of Mission Medellín aimed to create a space for knowledge sharing regarding the lessons learned by the city of Medellín over the past 20 years in important areas such as social urbanism, public transportation and sustainable mobility, risk management, sustainability, and public services.

Products developed:
8 master lectures and discussions given by more than 15 expert panelists of the highest level, as well as 12 technical visits that allowed learning beyond the theoretical for a better appropriation of knowledge.
Key results:
This first edition had the participation of 11 people representing 5 cities/governments (São José dos Campos, Rio Grande do Sul, Cuenca, Provincia de Maynas, Ñuble) from 4 countries (Brazil, Ecuador, Peru and Chile).
