Brief project description:This initiative, funded by the European Union and implemented by the Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy (GCoM Americas) and ICLEI, has selected fifteen cities to become part of the Emblematic Cities group in Latin America. These cities were chosen for their progress in climate action and will participate in a year-long series of training and mentoring programs aimed at advancing the preparation, financing, and implementation of their own local climate action projects.
