Brief project description: The EcoLogistics project, implemented by ICLEI and supported by the BMU of Germany through IKI, supported Bogotá, Manizales and the Metropolitan Area of the Aburrá Valley in the participatory construction of low-carbon urban logistics action plans, the development of emissions measurement tools, the identification of pilot projects and the formulation of recommendations for the national logistics policy, strengthening local capacities.

• Establishment of a Local Working Group (LWG) between Private Sector and Local Government.
• Development of low-carbon urban logistics action plans (LCAP-UF).
• Development of recommendations for the national urban logistics policy (NELPR)
• Exchange of Experiences Mexico-Brazil-AMVA Electric Bicycles
• Rosario-Bogotá Cooperation Cycle. 
• Demonstration Project: Evaluation of freight transport alternatives in zero-emission vehicles for last-mile parcel distribution in prioritized areas of Bogotá DC.

Key results:

• Progress was made in planning low-emission urban logistics through the participatory development of action plans and the identification of pilot projects in specific urban contexts.
• Baselines and initial tools were developed for monitoring freight transport emissions, contributing to improving the availability and quality of information for decision-making.
• Lessons were learned from pilot interventions in urban areas, aimed at evaluating low and zero emission freight transport alternatives, particularly in last mile distribution.
• Technical recommendations for sustainable urban logistics public policies were developed, based on dialogue between public and private actors, without being binding.
