Cali Local Biodiversity Action Plan

Brief project description: 

“Construction of the local biodiversity strategy and action plan for the city of Cali” financed by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and implemented by the Alexander von Humboldt Institute and ICLEI Colombia, whose objective was to provide technical support to the District of Santiago de Cali in the formulation of its Local Biodiversity Action Plan.

  • Strategy for the financial sustainability of LBSAP based on the prioritization and analysis of financial mechanisms at the local, regional and national levels
  • Local Strategy and Action Plan on Biodiversity

Key results:

This project constitutes a key strategic framework to guide efforts in favor of biodiversity and people, promoting a more resilient and sustainable urban environment that improves the quality of life of the people of Cali.
