Brief project description: The SERES project was launched in 2022 through a four-phase process, each focused respectively on: Phase 1: Identifying the main challenges and barriers faced by local governments when integrating EbA measures; Phase 2: Developing a baseline diagnosis through risk and vulnerability assessments, and formulating conservation and restoration opportunities; Phase 3: Strengthening the gender and social inclusion (GESI) approach in the development of EbA pilot projects at the local level; and finally, Phase 4: Promoting sustainable and clean agricultural practices, empowering communities and raising awareness in society about the effects of climate change, through the promotion of food security, ecological restoration, and environmental education.
